Employment law is one of the fastest-changing areas of the law in the
UK. Over the past 40 years
there has been a steady increase of individual
employment legislation that organisations have had to
implement and adapt their
working practices to.
Outlining the various statutes that have been passed since 1970, discuss
and evaluate the legislation and how this has impact upon the HR department.
Produce a report of no more than 3000 words outlining the impact of
employment law including the
following information:
A clear description and assessment of various statues (20%)
A critical evaluation of the reason(s) for introducing the area of law
Discuss, providing practical examples the way that HR departments have adopted these pieces of legislation
Outline the positive and negative impact of the legislation in HR
departments (20%)
