Hollywood Diversity: Consider the topics we’ve talked about in this class and this week’s lecture. Find a current movie or TV show and dissect it.
Some questions to answer in your paper may include: Cast analysis (whether it’s diverse or not), it’s main message, sub-messages, what about its social media campaign, did the movie/TV show make the news (was the press good or bad)? Include information about its success at the box office or TV ratings. What attracted you to the movie/show. Would you recommend it to others and Why? In the year of the pandemic did it play at the movie theatre? If not, where could it be seen? If it was a TV show, was it streamed or on a network TV channel?
