In Chapter 2 we discuss reasons why employers have unions and how collective bargaining impacts wages and benefit options for employees. Union members provide imput through the collective bargaining process to their organizations what they value, and sometimes employers and unions come to a stalemate in negoiations due to disagreements regarding wages and benefts. For this week’s discussion, I want to hear what you feel is the number one, most important workplace reward is today? This could be a reward you currently receive, like extra weekend pay, or something you wish you had, such as vision insurance.
